Our experience enables us to provide a commercial and cost-effective service, whether for stand-alone or multiple building acquisitions or disposals.

We understand that funders, institutions, investors, occupiers and vendors all have differing needs.  Consequently, we ensure that we establish your specific requirements and tailor our service to meet those requirements – whether they relate to defects, materials testing, refurbishment proposals, cost recoverability via dilapidation claims, insurance, warranties, documentation or other associated matters.

Our experience in dilapidations also means we are able offer additional advice as the implications of terminal (and interim) dilapidations claims are usually considerable.  This is why we take the time to review existing leases and associated documentation to ensure that our clients are provided with as full a picture as possible of the proposed transaction.

Whilst we do not offer Building Services advice in house, we do recognise the increasing complexity of building services and the impact this can have when undertaking a Due Diligence inspection and we have in place arrangements with Building Services Consultants so we are able to include a comprehensive coverage with any report, should this be required.

Our clients were seeking to acquire a large 12 storey tower block formally owned by the Local Authority. Due to tight timescales on the bidding process, Peacock Stevens were tasked with turning the survey around within a 7-day period.
