Most sustainable buildings have lower running costs and effective sustainable energy solutions are a major contributor to reducing the cost of energy during the lifetime of a building. We can offer CO2 concentration measurement for occupied buildings and can use these data to demonstrate improvements to the internal environment before and after alteration and refurbishment projects or upgrading maintenance works. By ensuring that buildings are compliant with legislative requirements and are energy efficient with good carbon management Landlords can create a better working environment and improve productivity. They also offer better quality occupier health and wellbeing which makes properties more desirable to potential tenants.

At Peacock Stevens we like to promote the achievement of carbon reduction targets, look for efficiencies, comply with legal requirements and explore the possibilities for generating renewable energy.

Our partnering consultants carry out building performance assessments under internationally recognised schemes including BREEAM, LEED and Code for Sustainable Homes and also issue Energy Performance Certificates and Display Energy Certificates.

We offer full support during the planning stages of a building, reporting and advising on a range of sustainability issues, from water consumption through to material procurement.  We also write sustainability statements to help secure planning permission. We can offer an overview of building designs to ensure that materials selected help minimise waste have a low environmental impact and are responsibly sourced.
