Building Reinstatement Cost Assessments are required to establish the cost of rebuilding a property in the event of a total loss, this is usually a requirement of your buildings insurance.
Buildings must be insured to cover the full cost of demolition and rebuilding, together with any other allowances for professional fees.
An accurate BRCA will eliminate the risk of under-insurance and avoid payment of excessive premiums due to over-insurance. If under insured, in the event of a loss, your claim value will be reduced accordingly.
