Alhambra Shopping Centre, Barnsley

Appointed by the owners, Peacock Stevens were requested to oversee the glazing replacement to a large atrium at a shopping Centre in Barnsley.  Due to the nature and location of the works the project had to be undertaken whilst the Shopping Centre was closed to minimize any potential risks.  The glass atrium is sited above a busy food court so effective management of the works was imperative to ensure no incidents occurred.  The contractors Risk and Method Statements were continually assessed and managed throughout the contract which completed without incident.
