We received instructed by one of our investment clients to monitor tenant works on a new lease deal at a large retail premises in the North East.  Our client had agreed as part of the deal to fund a portion of the works and Peacock Stevens were tasked with the initial assessment, monitoring and valuing payments during the project period and signing off at completion.

Peacock Stevens were able to negotiate the specification of works with the tenant and make cost savings by putting forward alternative methods of repair and reduce items that were deemed to be excessive thus reducing the overall client contribution to the tenant whilst keeping the agreement in place.
